Time to Grow your Money!

Be the Biryani-Eating Billionaire the World Needs!

Today is an important day. Because I have an exciting announcement that will literally change the way we think about our futures. No, I’m not talking talking about Khalil ur Rehman’s pitai by the girl he tried to visit at 4 AM - although that has changed many future aspirations too.

Meme of the Week

For generations, South Asian women have been demonized for wanting to be wealthy. For wanting money. The terms “gold diggers,” “lalchi” and “materialistic” are mostly used for women - to shame them into staying on the back foot when it comes to financial independence.

Society has kept women so busy with domestic issues - in real life and TV dramas - that wanting to be wealthy feels like a distant dream. And also a crime.

It is constantly reinforced to us through media - such as in Mere Paas Tum Ho - that the evil female character is also the one chasing after money and wealth. Sab ko baich ke kha janay wali. The core theme of that drama was infidelity - BUT it was also portrayed that women like “Mehwish” with “loose” characters (as society likes to call them) are ALSO the ones obsessed with money.

On the other hand, in real life and around us we always see women not having the agency to even control their own money. Be it wedding gift-money, dowry or inheritance - their money is often taken over by a male member of their family. No one teaches young girls how to invest, open bank accounts and many strip older women of their right to be able to save their money - for themselves. Other than “committees” or “gold jewelry” very few options are available to women, easily.

This very lack of financial independence is also one of the many things that tie women to abusive or unhappy situations.

That is why I am thrilled to announce, that I have decided to revolt against this system.

It’s not what you think it is!

I am teaming up with a wealth management specialist - Saba Abid - to host a class designed to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to invest. Saba Abid is associated with one of the largest Wealth Management Firms in Canada and works with a team of Investment Advisors assisting them in portfolio construction and management. She has successfully completed CFA level 1 & 2 and is working towards her CFA Charter. She holds a Summa Cume laude & Gold medal in her bachelors and Magna cum laude & Silver medal in her MBA. (Basically a superstar). Saba is passionate about helping people not only manage finances but getting financially independent through balanced and planned investing.

You can sign up and learn more about the class here. It is being hosted on 10th August 2024 at 9 PM Pakistan Time which is 12 noon EST. It is going to last for almost 3 hours and is going to be an excellent source of information for ANY one who wants to grow their money.

For Soulies who are registered to our Premium Membership - this class is free for you. The code is given in the premium section of this email below! And for those who want to upgrade to access the free code - you are welcome to do it too! :)
